Since I'm pretty sure the anime never even mentions it, the furthest anyone has gotten into the Great Tomb of Nazarick is the 8th floor. Eight guilds banded together with their allies to bring a force of over 1500 players, mercenaries, and NPCs to bear on Nazarick, but in the end, they were defeated. Aura and Mare were both killed in this raid(and I'm sure the other floor guardians before floor 8 were killed or defeated as well)
