Computer Problems
Added 2018-08-27 21:22:09 +0000 UTCComputer issues have slowed my production to a crawl over the last week. I'm not completely sure but I think my hard drive is slowly dying.
Still working on getting remedial measures to get some more life out of my work beast until I can afford a new one. Also my stylus might be dying; at any rate I've been having issues with it when trying to work.
Trying not to let it affect my state of mind, but it's really disheartening that so often since I've started the Patreon I think 'oh things are calming down and I can just concentrate on work' and life promptly throws in another complication.
Anyway! I'll keep chugging along as best I can. I'm still behind on, well, everything, really, but bit by bit I get closer to being caught up. Thank you for your patience and support!

Also that makes me so happy that my pics are used as desktops, just thinking about my art out there in the world gives me a little smile.

I ended up moving things manually, which was fine because I had years and years of sloppy filekeeping to tidy up. I've got an external all set up with all my core programs, ready to go if the HDD bites it
2018-08-30 19:33:16 +0000 UTCIf your on a mac are you not able to quickly clone your internal HDD to a external (using something like CCC) and keep running off that till you can get a replacement? I've done that before and it helps keep things moving. That will also show if its your hard drive or not pretty quick. I only use my wacom tablet for video editing, even still I'm on my third one in 7 years... I'm sure your stylus sees at least as much use. Sucks wen theres problems from it, but I totally know how that one feels like. random driver problems with them can be annoying too.. Meanwhile I'll keep enjoying your art as a lot of your work makes great desktop pics for my macs :)
