Anouncement of Future and some baiting.

Long story short, I am thinking of implementing the same reward style of the professionals, where I will sent out the files via dropbox or somewhere to the pledger only after the months payment is concluded. Reasons:
- Quite a number of pledger simply pledge and run in this few months (Yes I am notified by who is pledging and through checking the Patron Manager)
- I feel like its not fair for older Patrons who have pledged for so long yet new Patrons are able to access the full content. Do you think so?
I am going to open a HF account just to promote soon haha~
I am also planning to post cut cropped version of the Exclusive art, since they will be permamnent?, on other sites as bait cough

Seeing the old posts was really nice and surprising at the amount of characters you drew which I really liked but having a time frame where new ones can see old posts is understandable. Its a shame that you encountered people who take and run but it could not be helped. Heh I apologize I'm not giving much input, I'm more of a straight forward person. I like it, so I'll support it.

About 2) This might be something to worry about in case either the "Charge Up Front" option or Patreon gets changed in a way that gives "Charge Up Front" any kind of disadvantages in the future. I think the best reasonable way to evaluate what the better method is would be to ask other Patreon artists you might know why they decided to go with sending the rewards at the end of the month instead of using "Charge Up Front". To me, it seems like many professional artists go with sending the rewards at the end of the month instead of choosing the "Pay Up Front" option, I think it is mainly because of the fear of not being able to go back once "Pay Up Front" is chosen, but maybe there are also other reasons to that.

Different than Commission actually, to me it feels more like request since Commission require me to constantly asking the Commissioner to check whether it is right and then new changes to be done near the end as well as waiting for their reply...tiresome. Sadly there is no way for it...Though I would like if those who will be leaving to leave a note/msg about it... That's why suggestion section is made haha~

Do put your life more importance to be spent with the money earned. Though you may want to leave a note/msg before it cough. Sadly, there's no option for limitation at the moment. Guess the only way is to slowly remove and compile the past rewards to be put up for grab on Gumroad for a certain sum. Example, maybe a full set of Sketch,Lineart,Png and PSD of Image A will be for $5 or something. Will begin baiting with dem cropped exclusive at 2017~ Thanks for answering and suggesting.

Unfortunately it has some downside to the Patrons in a sense. 1) If Patron pledged at the 25th of a month, they are charged immediately. Then on the next 1st week of the coming month, they will be charged again. I feel this might deter people. 2) It's permanent. If the Pledge and Run still persist, perhaps I would have no choice but to do"Charge Up Front". Maybe I should have posted more on my tumblr. Fortunately, 2017 will have my internet speed doubled (to 108 kbs eue;;;),so the Tumblr slow load problem will be fixed. Thanks for answering and suggesting.

I'm not sure what could or will work to make life better for the most of us but I you should just put WIPs here and send us individually the completed work when it's completed? Its always a big surprise to us whenever you give us the opportunity for commissions and I've stayed here for a while looking forward to them which I believe is your main selling point right now. I believe the situations which Crimme described as situations in which we don't have enough money will eventually befall each of us at one point or another. Would there be a way to calculate the total contributions or time any of us is subscribed and reward for certain landmarks? Compared to back towards the beginning, there are at least a larger fixed number of us and polls might be more viable. Outside of character suggestions for art, maybe you can ask our fetishes for what we would to see? Maybe like certain positions, body part preferences, or other various sexy details? Idk, just adding stuff to suggestion box.

But I practically got to see a lot of past posts, which actually kept me pledging until one time I didn't quite have money. Though I feel like some people would just pledge for a month, then re-pledge after a couple months taking advantage because they can still see past posts (I'll admit I waited until the month ended to re-pledge knowing I'd be able to see the content I missed for the past months.) I think there is a way so that long term pledgers can see full content, and new pledgers can only see the stuff from the month they pledge and onwards. Another method I'd personally prefer (IF its even possible on patreon) is for people to unlock certain old posts for lil additional money, or people who pledge higher amount can access old content. Cut cropped versions seems like a good idea, to be honest, your female chung exclusive actually baited me to pledge. And what can I say, No regrets at all :)

2016-12-29 20:09:33 +0000 UTCPersonally, I think it is rather unfair towards you, since you're putting so much time and dedication in your Patreon. I think the best solution to new Patrons "sampling" content and then leaving would be to use "Charge Up Front". However, it seems like that option isn't immediately unlocked for creators, so if it isn't available to you yet, delivering the rewards at the end of the month and posting cropped or censored versions during the month (like the ones you usually upload on Pixiv in case of NSFW) would probably be the only other solution to this, the downside is of course that normal Patrons have to wait till the end of the month to receive their rewards. Personally, I would be okay with it if it helps you getting rid of the kind of Patrons that just "sample" content and leave, but it might be a good idea to get more opinions on this from other Patrons. Concerning the promotion, I think it is a pretty good idea to reach out to a wider audience. Aside from opening a HF account, regularly posting on Tumblr might also help getting the attention of more people. Too bad there doesn't seem to be a NSFW subreddit for Elsword, otherwise that would have been a possibility as well.
