Progress Report (April 2018)

The month of April hasn't been too fruitful due to myself having to take about two weeks off projects to create the very video that helped the launch of our Patreon Campaign along with the banner and all the character artworks in it (nothing was recycled from previous drawings!) but here's a more detailed list of everything that's been taken care of and/or currently in the works!

● PRJCT_GO: A surprise project to come out before PRJCT_FX is currently on the last stages of pre-production. We expect to hit production by the end of the month! When that will happen, this project will have Top Priority in terms of production schedule.

● PRJCT_FX: An original IP's pilot episode co-created by Blake "ShadyVox" Swift and myself currently in the middle of production and with the highest priority.

CLEAN-UP
A friend is currently taking care of Asset Clean-Up; Essentially Vectoring and coloring my sketches for parts like hand variations, tails, limbs and the sort. The following clean-ups have been completed this month (sometimes there's a lot of frames for just one cut!)

Another friend is taking care of concept designs and artwork cleanup for things like pictures, posters and portraits you'll see hanging in the backgrounds! (That stuff needs to be considered too!)

● PRJCT_YL2: A second installment to our first Yooka Laylee Short that is currently ON HOLD until PRJCT_GO is cleared. This Project is currently in the Animation Keyposing stage, which means everything has been taken care of in terms of script, voice recordings, preliminary design and storyboards!

● PRJCT_O: A Proof of Concept video that will contain various animation clips of different original characters in different styles (You can see some of those original characters in our very banner!). This project is currently ON HOLD until PRJCT_GO is cleared.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

#PRJCT_FX Has been in production for quite a while now. The Concept stage (which included fleshing out characters, rules of the universe, world building and coming up with ideas, settings and situations) lasted for about four months as the script for the first installment was also being written and refined.

The Script has been completed in the August/September of 2017, to which Voice Recording and Cast Auditions followed as I started taking care of visual pre-production.

Visual Pre-Production included Storyboards, Character Designs, Prop Design, Background Design, Layout, Color Design and Puppet Compiling (Every Character finalized in terms of design and build is referred as a Puppet).

The Storyboards were completed in the first week of November 2017, but everything else was still in progress, and enough material to start actual animation wasn't ready until Early January 2018.

Animation Production has started on January 10th 2018 and continues to this day!
