I've wanted to say that for a long time.
So, for the record... those last four words? They were always meant to be the conclusion to the story. It just took an (understated) while to reach them. I often have final sentences in mind from the start: it's everything in between which can be the trouble.
But now, the words have been said. And with those words -- this story is complete.
