December freebie: "Why do all our new adversaries rhyme with each other?"

I originally started to write this one out as a blog post, and then I realized it was too stupid not to inflict on as many people as possible. Also given that how fundamentally dumb it is plus the fact that it clocked in at a mere 1500+ words, I wasn't going to put up a post charge for it. But now it's out of the way and I can hopefully work on something else tomorrow. Presuming that everyone who reads this decides to let me live.
I'm not betting on that last part.
