New one-shot story: Tricks Of The Trade Show
Added 2017-03-14 06:10:53 +0000 UTCThis is a Rarity focus story, set in the days before the Boutique, with what might be a slightly surprising guest star -- somepony I left out of the cast icons on purpose. It's also another AU division point because in canon, that pony is not supposed to be there.
I would normally say more, but I just wrote more than 18k words, in just about a straight shot, during one day. And as such, I'm going to bed right after I see the story hit the New column. I just have a couple of notes:
* The next story may be a fluff/MetaCrack piece about pegasi killing kittens by flapping their wings. Because why should unicorns have all the magical side effect fun?
* I'm considering a few ideas for the mainline 'verse return of Crossing Guard and the ID. There may be a blog post about this later -- but right now, I just feel like it may be about time to check in on him.
I just hope I can get through a story about the head of Canterlot's Immigration Department without having too many people scream.
