Triptych: updated
Added 2017-04-22 03:30:20 +0000 UTCAbout 7k on this chapter -- although I've recently been told that FIMFic's method of word counting doesn't necessary produce the true number, and now I'm a little worried about that. Still, it's a decent size for a fresh portion, and I still intend to put up at least one more chapter on it before April runs out. (For that matter, before the 29th: I know I'm losing the last weekend to other things.)
Because of various issues (medical/dental, mostly), I've had a hard time getting a chance to write this month. However, I still plan on getting five pieces up before May hits. It's just that this time, those five pieces may be in the form of five updates: new chapters on ongoing works. So if March was All New Stories Month, April may be We've Got To Get Back To The Longforms. I hope everyone understands, and I'll do my best to keep the word-count-for-the-buck at a decent ratio, even if I'm not sure what that exact word count is any more.
So: at least one more chapter on Triptych, another on Anchor Foal, and we'll see how the other two slots go. There could be a new stand-alone short if an i-dea! strikes -- but that's not a promise I can fully make. And as said in a recent blog post, this is where Triptych itself slowly start to shift toward the endgame.
Of course, knowing me, the endgame is probably another 100k words. At least.
