I'll keep this short: it's just under 7k on the word count, it is setting a few things up, and the next chapter is going to be vicious.

So -- four postings for the month, which hopefully gets me closer to resuming a normal rate. I'll post my semi-delusional July hope-to-writes in my blog sometime after the holiday. For now, I have to get ready to face a weekend which I really don't want to deal with, and then I have to try and get some sleep.

But right now, I want to take a moment and say thank you. To everyone who continues to sponsor me. To those who were here for a while and had to leave. To the ones who are still reading. There should always be moments taken for that.

I'm -- one of the lucky ones. It's hard to see myself that way. It's hard to remember. But there are ways in which I am a little lucky, and -- this is one of them.
