Make that definitely going to feel this one tomorrow.
It's not the longest chapter: around 5700 words. But it's basically a single scene. It's something which has been building for a long time, and a lot of that ultimately came out. If I did it right, the intensity is there and when the next chapter arrives, it's not going to be all that much of a step down. The exact nature of the pressure might change, but the pressure itself will remain.
Some things can be physically draining to write. The dream sequence of Symbolism wrung me out for a couple of days. This one isn't quite as much of a marathon run across the keyboard -- but emotionally, spending this much time in Coordinator's mindset is like turning your own bloodstream into a sewer, then feeling every bit of flow.
I hope August is better than July.
