Yes, this is still Story Update Month, and said Updates will begin appearing soon. But I like to do something special at this time of year, and thus a sub-3k piece about why gathering six Elements isn't as simple as you might want it to be. There's no post charge for this one, because it's the holidays -- and frankly, because don't feel comfortable pushing the Charge Patrons button when the results are less than five thousand words.
However, I have now set up a Ko-fi tip jar page, which can be found at https://ko-fi.com/H2H46PPO . (I don't actually drink coffee...) This was suggested by a few people after Recent Events Recented Themselves, and I'm trying it out for the first time on this story.
(It doesn't mean I expect people to use it on a freebie story: this is just the day I put it together.)
