Update: Triptych

I've noticed that when I try to use the link form of post for an established story, it'll go through -- but if I attempt to do so on a freshly-written one-shot (or first chapter of a new ongoing piece), it fails and forces me to use the text option.

There's absolutely nothing I can do about or with this information, but I was writing this out, so... might as well share.

At any rate -- this is the first of the two promised December chapters for Triptych: the second will likely appear on the 31st. However, before that, I'm going to keep a promise and put up a new section for Your Princess Is In Another Castle -- and that particular update will be a freebie.

But tonight is for the main story, and so just under 6k words have been added to it. It's a chapter of shuffling pieces around the board. The players are moving into place, and the spotlight is approaching the main stage. The next chapter could turn out to be an interesting one, with a potential Comments section to suit.
