Yes, I've been writing for hours. (I remembered to eat -- rice. I didn't want to stop for more than that. The Energy Drink Of Last Resort was removed from the refrigerator.) This chapter worked out to just over 9800 words, and it brings us to the absolute border of the endgame. There's still some distance to go -- but the next chapter will be the speech itself. A few people will read it, some will see their theories denied, others might find things confirmed, and I'm probably going to be screamed at no matter what happens.
