They looked at him this way because armored titan supposed to be super hard to destroy, but in this fight they were shown that even he cant keep up with technology. If they will do 2 chapters per week like in this episode they will end by chapter 122(turning point), also in the trailer they showed things very close to this chapter. So most likely we will get second part of the season or movies.
