They found Gigantomakia, they talked with Dr, he said that they need to beat Gigantomakia in order for him to submit, in the end of My Villain Academia Gigantomakia listened to orders from Shigaraki, so Dr agreed to give him power, Shigaraki is being zapped and upgraded by Dr right now. Leg in old episode not being broken is just mistake(it is the same moment where he was walking towards Re Destro after the fight, but it is shown from the perspective that wasn't in manga, so they made mistake with leg).
