I think something you guys should take more notice on is the outfits of the shadows. As shown both Mio and the cop had their exact outfits copied however the little girl was in funeral attire… what does this mean? If the girl was already a shadow why wasn’t she able to come into contact with Mio before the funeral? The family refused after their daughter had witnessed Ushio’s death? So I think Jouten was right that the family were not shadows at the funeral.
