what plate do you have the MPS mounted onto the Staccato XC with? I heard the MPS is Acro footprint but doesn't fit the Staccato/Dawson Precision Acro plate? I'm tempted to get an MPS while I wait for an Acro P2 to become available.
2023-05-16 04:38:41 +0000 UTCThe MPS window is angled forward instead of backward because the emitter is in the top of the body. I have seen claims that this eliminates false dots when facing into the sun, but I have not tested it myself. My biggest issue with the MPS is that if you disable auto shutoff, you lose the top brightness setting. This is because the top brightness setting smokes the battery. My eyes need that top setting to be able to see the hue of red that this dot puts out.
