Africa Map
Added 2024-01-31 19:24:33 +0000 UTCA 3k x 3k map inspired by Africa's landscapes. Featured in the video on my channel, "I Survived 100 Days in AFRICA in Minecraft Hardcore".
NOTE: This map does not include any modded structures from the video as I do not own those structures. This is the Minecraft 1.20.1 Java Edition Map.
This map includes:
- 5 Distinct Biomes (Badlands, Desert, Mountain, Plains, Jungle)
- 2 custom villages
- A recreation of Mount Kilimanjaro
- 3 Shipwrecks/numerous other hidden structures

This map is not meant to be an exact map or replica of Africa in any way, but rather a broad characterization representing the personality and wonder that the extraordinary continent has to show.

2024-10-07 12:44:00 +0000 UTCCertain mobs you'll have to spawn in yourself - you can also change their spawn rate in the mod configuration depending on the mod. Alex's Mobs allows for that but I don't believe Untamed Wilds does. Either way, I would go in and spawn all the mobs you want and also place the modded structures (villages, watchtowers, temples, etc). I would have this all included in the map if I could but unfortunately I can only let people download the Vanilla versions of the map

2024-10-06 09:03:14 +0000 UTCYou can use the mod "In Control" to control mob spawns but otherwise, it could be due to the difficulty if it's not set to "Hard". To play the map in normal mode, make sure you have cheats enabled and type "/difficulty normal" in chat.
