Triptych: second update
Added 2018-11-26 01:58:47 +0000 UTCWell, it almost had to be a shorter chapter this time: just about 6k. But even so, for me, it was more emotionally exhausting to write than the prior one. And I have to wonder how the people who've only read Triptych will react here. There are two other stories which have a direct bearing on the events of this chapter (Blessing and A Mark Of Appeal), and I feel those who've read them all will have an easier time with this conclusion. But beyond that, I'm expecting some screaming to start.
However, I take comfort in the fact that based on the comments, a couple of people were on this path. So at least the stones won't be thrown from the full perimeter.
We most likely have two chapters to go in this story.
Yes, that scares me too.
