As semi-threatened in this blog post, we're going anime.
(Not Displaced. The actual character. There is probably something out there which could get me to write a Displaced story and I'm assuming it has a very rapid rate of fire.)
The core idea launched in the first two chapters and roughly 6000 words? To take it seriously. To take her seriously. One of my biggest problems with the original series is that I feel the greatest possible fanservice would be More Plot. The household's exchange students have fairly well-defined personalities. They could play off each other and their environment for volumes to come. And the worldbuilding offered by such a society is potentially limitless.
But what do we get? Ripped blouses.
So for the first time, I'm bringing someone into Equestria with a simple goal: to see what happens when they're divorced from their main plot. When there's a chance for things to become a little more real.
She longs to be a knight.
Be careful what you wish for.
