New one-shot Mature story: No Pepper
Added 2019-04-13 23:53:38 +0000 UTCI said it in the blog: I couldn't do something serious today. Life is serious enough already -- along with being, in a rather dark way, completely ridiculous. So I went with Dark and Completely Ridiculous, married them to a crackfic idea, and sent the resulting offspring out into the world to wreak havoc.
Now, fair warning: due to the nature of the very dark joke --it has the Sex tag, but there's nothing explicit -- this story did wind up as the second Mature entry in my catalog. I'll understand if this offends some people, but... it was written by someone who's been in a succession of dark moods. And with this out of the way, I'm hoping to do something more conventional and serious later.
Unless I try the one about how Mr. Cake changing a diaper in public leads to a townwide protest against his actions. Because if I'm losing my mind, that one clearly has to get written.
Just barely over 6k on this one, and the crackfic aspect may come in all at once. It's a story destined for downvotes.
But this time? I earned them.
