Next-to-final update: A Duet For Land And Sky

I'm going to try and finish in October, because I have faint thoughts/hopes/soon-to-be-dashed dreams of starting the next big project on the anniversary of having wrapped up the original.
But we still have to reach the finish line on this story. (Feel free to mentally bring back all the 'stick the landing' bits from the last time around. They still apply.) And in this chapter... the spoiler-free way to say it is 'two major things change'. We are that much deeper into AU territory, twisting away from the original timeline -- but they're events which were set up to happen. We've been heading down this road for a long time, and as before, all I can do is hope that people understand the path which brought us here.
Roughly 7300 words and by the time this section closes, the world has twisted. In an absolute sense, order is stability while change is chaos -- and we've been making Discord happy for a while now.
The final chapter title, however, is probably going to tick him off.
