A few of you may recall this story idea arising from a blog post: the concept of Twilight coming across a coin she couldn't recognize and tracking it to the source. In this case, the Mature rating is present because while there's nothing directly explicit in the story itself, there's more than enough suggested to warrant a red tag.
Regardless, I tried to keep it fairly light: Slice Of Life was the central genre, and I added Comedy just before the end. Because to me, Twilight and just about anything sexual make for a combination so awkward as to make comedy bloom -- and for those who might have doubts, I recommend reading Cold in Gardez's classic, Naked Singularity. (It's safe. That one's rated Teen.)
We're over 12k for this one, which means I expect the word count on the next posting -- likely a chapter update -- to potentially be somewhat shorter. I'm also expecting things to become more uncertain for writing time, because the quarter-day time drain of going back and forth to the physical rehab care facility is being replaced tomorrow, and the substitution is 'everything that comes from picking her up and bringing her home.' Still, there's some amount of December left, and maybe I can manage.
But with a little luck, we'll be back to Cerea next.
With a lot of bad luck, it'll be the setup for a press conference.
...right. We already had the bad luck there. Setting up a press conference it is.
