This is a case of clearing the queue: I had been working on a new chapter for Anchor Foal and I -- got stuck. Reached the 3500-word mark after two days, and just stalled out there. I was going to continue this morning, but... it's been a long month in many ways, I felt like I needed something light, and I'd had a rather silly idea...
So I worked on the silly idea, because that way, I was working on something. And it didn't stall out. It cleared the queue, and hopefully made room for Fleur to come trotting behind it.
(However, if this turns out to not work, I have another, arguably sillier idea.)
(It's about the Bearers claiming tax deductions.)
(No, really.)
So... just over 7k on this one, and I think the image will give everyone a pretty good idea of the central topic. Because sometimes you have to be silly in order to feel a little better. And at others, being silly apparently needs to involve red-hot metal.
It's probably best to avoid doing that last part more than once.
