it may seem far off from the first entry, but this is the same place. Most of the world was destroyed in a great blast that only a few know about. Some parts of the world hold onto a sense of "normal" as anywhere near mountains was shielded from the blast. They continue living life as you or I, but they never dare venture into the waste. There is nothing but violence, Gluttony, and death for anyone living in the now-dead parts of the world.

An explorer continues to search for any sign of humanity as he ventures the dangerous waste. He was sent out from his dying settlement to try and unravel the mystery behind the great blast. Fearing being digested in his travels, he was cyber-enhanced with parts that allow his head to survive digestion, and even generate a new body from the neck down. However, he can't just MAKE a body, he needs resources ~ luckily for Neil, he already carries the pred gene as he isn't technically human ( as all preds are variants of humanity without being fully human)

Hope you guys like this second entry~ I've actually really enjoyed making this series haha I hope it's at least a fun read. Also, since I have no idea how to convey this otherwise, Neil is canonically black and white lmao. like his flesh underneath is normal, but his outer features are black and white hehe
