2023-10-15 17:26:49 +0000 UTCfirst question, the king wanted to fulfil that fotune he was told by jang gang (the alchemist) which was "you would have a son and he would have the energy of the king star" but since he was old he needed the alchemy of souls to have sex. unfortunately he had sex with jang gang's wife, technical the son is biologically jang gang bc its his body but this show is all about energy. so who was in jang gangs body n who's energy was there?? the king so the son (jang uk) is the king's son. Even jang gang doesnt think jang uk is his son thats why he abandoned him and only the maid servant is taking care of him. hope you read this n understand.

2023-10-15 17:25:57 +0000 UTCTo answer the 2nd question the guy that looked like a baby and was being escorted hes basically a soul shifter and he works in the royal palace, i think for the Queen or around the Queen, whom you havent seen yet but you'll see more of in the upcoming episodes. Again i watched this a long time ago but from what i can remember its something along these lines.

2023-10-15 12:00:35 +0000 UTCThe guy with the dog is an extremly powerful mage and hes a good character but you'll see more of him as the story goes on. Hes basically gonna be the first one to see right through naksu/mudeok and figure out how and why she doesnt have her powers. Hes quite significant to the storyline overall.
