These black and white comics are reasonably rapid to do, I reasoned... so how quick would they be to animate?
Ihe answer is, not bad.
Not having to deal with the colour and shading layers does removed a few multipliers from the amount of effort required to animate, letting me concentrate more on the motion. And the panel-to-panel layout saves on transitional movements - which take about as long as loops themselves!
This does raise the question about how much a potential commissioner would be willing to pay for a comic like this. Now, animations are not exactly selling well right now as it is... I am curious to know what your thoughts are!

Hmm, yeah that is a good point! Selective upgrades could definitely be a thing... ...Gonna experiment more!

2020-08-05 11:20:05 +0000 UTCI think it's pretty good actually! I like this in particular because if there's one that jumps out in particular they may want to upgrade it to a full coloured animation eventually. Either way loving seeing you experiment!
