A spigoted barrel with a particularly fancy lid depicting a golden Hart. This decorated barrel is 16” x 12” and has a magical space within that can hold up to 25 gallons of liquid. It weighs 50 pounds regardless of its contents.
Open Tab. Once per day, you can speak this barrel's command word to have it fill with 25 gallons of ale. If a pound of fruit or similar flavoring is dropped into the barrel before speaking the command word, the ale produced becomes flavored and any creature that drinks the ale regains 1 hit point per cup and receives enough nourishment for one day. Any ale remaining after 1 hour spoils, becoming flat and rancid and loses any additional effects.
If there’s one thing that cannot be overstated, it’s the simply ludicrous amount of ale an adventuring party can consume in a matter of hours. I needed a way to quickly replenish my beverage supply at a moment’s notice. It became such a popular parlor trick that I had parties asking for barrels of their own. Miniaturizing the barrel while maintaining its volume was a challenge, but now my customers can have their revelry at any time, even while on the road.
