Weapon (glaive / whip), uncommon
A glaive tipped with twin hooked blades, each resembling a crescent moon. A trigger splits the blades into a hook and separates the haft into a segmented whip. While in its whip form, the range of melee attacks made with it on your turn is increased by an additional 10 feet.
Trick Weapon. You can use a Bonus Action to transform this weapon from a glaive to a whip or vice versa. The DCs for any Saving Throws using this weapon’s properties equal 8 plus the ability modifier used to make an attack with it plus your Proficiency Bonus. You can use the Transform Attacks of trick weapons a total number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus before finishing a short rest.
Crescent Moons (Transform Attack). After you make an attack with this weapon while in its glaive form, you can use a Bonus Action to transform it into a whip, whirling it around you. Each creature within 10 feet of you must make a Dexterity Saving Throw. On a failure, they take 1d6 slashing damage and their speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of their next turn.
Angler’s Catch (Transform Attack). After you hit a creature with this weapon while in its whip form, you can use a Bonus Action to transform it into a glaive. The target must make a Strength Saving Throw or be pulled up to 10 feet toward you.
The moon is an ever-present symbol to all who know the power it has over man and beast alike. Those who live by the shore believe its power only grows when reflected on the water’s surface. Perhaps the calm seas show us not a simple reflection, but another world? Is the reflection a dream of beings beyond our own, or are we the dream, and the reflection the truth? Those who believe in the Twinmoon stand vigilant at the shores of our reality, for whether we are the dream or the waking world, we must be prepared for whatever emerges from the waves.
