I definitely feel like I've become a little more skilled with this medium, and I'm sooo dang excited to continue! I also think my drive and productivity for making new full color pieces hasn't been this high since.. Maybe 3-4 years ago?
Anyway, I hope you like it!
Max as a nun is what I live for, and Rick is an angel for a change. I also rly loved doing the simple line tattoos Rick has, so I might incorporate that into more inktobers!

That's a good idea actually! I've been thinking of perhaps doing color swatches. I always keep a piece of scrap paper on the side when I color a piece, to test what looks good together and which shades i should use for shading!
2018-10-23 17:41:48 +0000 UTCyeah i can understand that, i really struggle with colors in general (mainly cuz i also don't have any good paint at home) but this turned out amazing! maybe have a little cheat grid or strips? with different hues in different luminescence and saturation that you can easily hold next to each other and compare them??

2018-10-23 16:25:07 +0000 UTCI'm always a bit iffy on putting red and blue together, bcs they always contract so much, but i do like it more when it's as dark as this! As for the tattoo's; I need to find some kinda excuse to do more aged stuff like that ahhhh 🙈<3
