Some exciting news about this piece is that my bf has written a story for this scene which we'll make public later today! (There will be around 5 other stories from different AU's, all varying degrees of explicity.)
This one will be about soldier/officer Rick returning from the front to his wife.
This image is based on a Dean Cornwell painting called For The River's End!
