Magic Items Vol. Six (Alpha 0.1)

Core Stones

Magic Item (Uncommon) Core stones are faintly glowing slender oval gems that contain a substantial amount of power. While these stones are often used in order to power golems and other machines, they can be wielded by adventurers to great effect. Two iterations of Core Stones exist: Material Core Stones with an appearance akin to a ruby, and Ethereal Core Stones with appearances akin to Sapphires. As long as a creature is holding a core stone in one of their hands, they gain a +2 bonus to two of their combat stats; Material stones improving a creature's Strength and Speed, while Ethereal stones improve a creature's Mind and Resolve. While these stones can offer great benefits in combat, they occupy a creature's hand, potentially limiting the types of equipment they can wield and actions that they can take. While many adventurers refuse to do so, there is another way a creature can gain a core stone's benefit: through insertion in the manner of a plug. If a stone is worn this way, a character gains its benefits without requiring it to be held in their hands. However, if worn this way, an equipped creature's finesse is reduced by 1.

Edge Of Volatility

Magic Weapon (Common) An edge of volatility is among the most common and affordable type of magic item found within the Realm of Mortals. These items are mass produced using a process that causes these weapons to deal additional magic damage without regard for potential side effects, making them a solid choice for adventurers on a budget. Appearing in a wide range of variants, an Edge of Volatility can be any type of commom bladed weapon, using that weapons statistics. Additionally, any Edge of Volatility has a corresponding damage type from among Fire, Lightning, Water, Ice, Light, and Dark. Whenever a creature would be dealt damage by an Edge of Volatility, this weapon deals 1d6 additional damage of its corresponding type. However, due to the altering magics used to imbue this weapon with power, whenever the equipped creature would make any type of roll against a physically transformative effect, they reduce the result of their roll by -2.

Wardrobe Ring

Magic Item (Common) A small silver ring sporting an enchanted amethyst, this ring can be used to store a creature's outfits, allowing them to easily change their look in a matter of seconds. As a one-handed action, an equipped creature can store their current outfit within the ring, wear an outfit currently within the ring, or both options simultaneously. This ring can be used to store up to 10 outfits at once. If a creature has stored outfits within this ring, they can easily select which stored outfit is worn. However, if a creature chooses to wear an outfit within this ring and they were not the creature that was responsible for storing it, one of the outfits within the ring is chosen at random. Living Armor cannot be stored within a Wardrobe Ring.

Blade of Bust and Blade of Booty)

Magic Weapon (Uncommon) Swords said to once be wielded by the followers of Bliss, demigod of Joy, Blades of Bust and Blades of Booty are potent weapons that simultaneously augment a wielder's combative prowess and their proportions.  While these swords are powerful in their own right, they are especially powerful when wielded simultaneously.
