Smoocher (Alpha 0.1)

A minor transformative threat to adventurers, Smoochers are giant-lipped fairies that relentlessly try to kiss anything they come in contact with. While they may initially appear akin to a common pixie, appearing roughly a foot tall, a smoocher can be easily identified for it's prominent, brightly colored lips that match their wings. The wings of a smoocher come in a variety of shades, from bright fuchsias and oranges, to cyans and electric greens.

A Smoocher's lips are coated in a glossy and sweet balm that is notoriously addictive that can cause a creature's lips to grow at a startling rate. It's quite easy to spot adventurers who've had run-ins with Smoochers through their brightly colored lips. Adventurers unfortunate enough to kiss a smoocher for prolonged periods of time will find their lips growing several times larger, in extreme cases, taking up a large portion of their face.

Trying to reason with a smoocher is a losing battle, as while they are capable of speech, they care little of what comes out of other's mouths, only looking to kiss (and mark) as many lips of others as they can. The only creatures known to be able to reason with them are more powerful Fairies such as a Bimbofier of Heroes, a Matriarch of Vanity, and sometimes even Vapid Exchangers, though these creatures tend to merely direct a Smoocher's kisses elsewhere. 

Unfortunately for adventurers, while lone smoochers can be found in lush forests, it is more common for Smoochers to travel in groups ranging in size from three to ten of their kind, eagerly looking to share their "lip service."

Abilities:

Fairy Flight:  Fairies can fly as long as they're not holding a shield or a two-handed weapon and not wearing medium or heavier armor. While flying, a fairy's movement and finesse increase by 2.

Smooch:  As a two-handed action, a Smoocher can attempt to plant a huge kiss on an adjacent target's lips. This attack has accuracy dice of 1d6. However, its accuracy dice increases to 2d6 if it has four or more speed than the target.

On a hit, rather than dealing damage, the Smoocher continuously kisses the target until it is satisfied. At the beginning of each of the target's turns, they may roll 1d6 adding their resolve. If the total is 11 or less, the target forgoes its turn, continuing to kiss the smoocher. 

If a smoocher is dealt any form of damage, it will immediately stop kissing a target.

The effects from kissing a Smoocher vary based on how long the target was kissed. The following chart can be used to determine the effects a creature suffers based on the total number of full turns they were kissed by any number of smoochers within the past 24 hours. (A Smoocher must have kissed the target for an entire turn rotation for the target to receive an effect.)

1+: The target's lips are stained, appearing glossy, and the color of that of the smoocher that most recently kissed them.

3+: The target gains the following ability: Giant Lips: You have notably giant lips that naturally purse themselves into a pout. Your diplomacy increases by 1. When making diplomacy rolls when speaking to any type of fairy, add an additional +1 to the roll. However, Your enormous, brightly colored lips make you extremely noticeable. You reduce all subtlety rolls to sneak, hide, or blend into a crowd by -3.

6+ The target no longer receives the diplomacy improvements from the Giant Lips ability and gains the following ability: Lip-face: Your massive lips have taken up most of your face, making it quite difficult to communicate. Your diplomacy decreases by 3. Additionally, you constantly speak with a difficult to understand wet lisp. Whenever you talk, roll 1d10. On a 1-5, nobody can understand what you said, and will be unable to for the next ten minutes.

10+ The target gains the following ability: Smoocher Addict: If a smoocher attempts to hit you with its Smooch attack, roll 1d4 and add your resolve. If the result is less than 14, it automatically hits. Additionally, at the beginning of your turn, if you are currently being kissed by a Smoocher, you automatically fail the corresponding resolve roll, forgoing your turn to continue kissing the Smoocher. 

All effects a creature sustained from the effects of Smooch can be removed via a Ritual of Purification.
