False Armor (Alpha 0.1)
Added 2021-12-06 04:56:06 +0000 UTCMany seasoned adventurers cite the ever notorious False Armor as a deterrent for venturing forth on adventures alone. While nobody is quite certain of the origin of false armor, most attribute their creation to demons.
Due to their similarities to Living Armor, there is much debate by scholars and adventurers whether False armor should be classified as a monster or the former. However, due to lacking many traits found within Living Armor, the most popular opinion is to treat these foul armors as monsters. Most notably, while the effects of all Living Armor are augmented as it bonds with a creature, no such evolution transpires with a suit of False Armor, causing many to classify them as parasites.
Taking various appearances, when not being worn by a creature, False Armor appears no different than a suit one would find in the possession of an ordinary knight or blacksmith. However, upon being worn by a creature, False Armor locks itself onto that creature's body and attempts to gain control of its host. Helmets of these armors notably augment their shape upon being worn, completely covering the wearer's eyes with a blindfold of metal. Luckily, False Armor is quite averse to all forms of magic, and will release a host if it sustains enough damage within a short period of time.
While controlling a host, False Armor seeks to experience that which it can't without a host, though what this means specifically varies from Armor to Armor. While some seek to be used in grueling battles, actively attacking whoever it may find, others seek carnal pleasure that it would be unable to achieve without a host.
When worn by a creature, the spaces between this armor's metallic plates emit a faint purple glow. While some False Armor maintains its original form, save for the added metal blindfold when worn by a creature, some change their form when worn, altering their appearance to that akin to metallic lingerie.

Inventory:
None
Unsuspecting Form: False Armor appears completely indistinguishable from mundane armor when not being worn by a creature.
Host Domination: Upon being worn by a creature, that creature must roll 1d8, adding their resolve. If the result is 14 or less, that creature is indefinitely inflicted with the hypnotized status effect, carrying out orders telepathically given to it by the armor. While wearing a suit of False Armor, if this roll was failed, a creature's turns are controlled by the Armor, though they are incapable of casting spells while hypnotized this way. If a creature succeeds this roll, they must repeat it at the beginning of every hour if they are still wearing the armor. When the armor is removed from a creature hypnotized this way, this status effect immediately ends.
Host Shield: If the False Armor would sustain damage, it can cause a creature wearing it to take that damage instead. The False Armor can use this ability no more than three times within 24 hours.
Imperfect Symbiosis: If false armor sustains 25 or more damage from a single source, it immediately unequips itself from the wearer. Additionally, if the False Armor's HP or Will is reduced to 0, it immediately unequips itself.
Form Of Perversion (Optional): When worn by a creature, the armor's form becomes noticeably more lewd and erotic. If a hypnotized creature wearing false armor with this ability makes a roll to seduce another creature, they add +3 to the roll. However, they reduce the result of all non-seduction social rolls by -3 while wearing armor with this ability.
