Weekend Update #16

Hey, you beautiful bastards!

You may have noticed I've been gone for quite a while. I was about to give an update last week or so, if you're part of the Discord, I've already said it there but basically I just got really sick. Just a bitch of a flu that came out of nowhere. Coughing is the only remaining annoyance. The nausea was the worst of all, just having my body upright makes me want to puke. So most of this week was just me suffering in my bed.

Enough about that, how's the game going? It's SO GODDAMN CLOSE! I want to do overnighters to finish this but I don't want to get myself sick again. The progress say's 65% but that's just me saying that some stuff were left unfinished. The final scenes are something I want to carefully craft as it's the emotional climax of Prii's arc. I don't want to move too fast on Priscilla's with the MC but neither too slow that blueballs the player. Argh! I dunno! That's my problem! The other things left to do is the Playbuck photos, overall code polish, and proof-reading. I'm expecting a release around April.

Also, I just want to say that I recently upgraded this PC of mine to a Ryzen 7 2700X from an i5-2500K. The extra cores help A LOT! Rendering on the old one would turn my PC into a slideshow hell, now I can use Photoshop and do other stuff while the scene is rendering which helps with the productivity. So thanks for the support guys!

Anyways, I'm just here reassuring you I'm not disappearing into the void or whatnot. I'm just an idiot who neglected taking care of his health. Eat an apple a day, buds! The Custom Render polls for this month will go up later this evening (or morning/afternoon in your timezone!)
