More currency options!
Added 2020-08-06 19:44:30 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Patreon has let us know that more of you can now pledge in your home currency. It doesn't change the pledge amount, but Patreon will convert the equivalent amount for you, and the charge is in your home currency so that you won't pay fees on your credit card or such for the conversion. I know that I have a lot of fans in the UK and Europe (based on the time of day when people write π) so this is good news for you. British Pounds and Euros are the two new options. No option yet for Australians or Canadians, of whom I know I also have a lot of fans, but hopefully Ozzies and fellow Canucks will get some love from Patreon soon as well. Here are the instructions for setting up your currency preference:
- On Patreon.com, hover over your avatar in the top right of your screen.
- Click Manage memberships.
- Find this page, and click Edit.
- Under Currency, choose your preferred currency.
- Click Update to save your settings.

The option may not be present if they do not offer your currency. That's my best guess.

2020-09-02 05:24:23 +0000 UTCThere's a Community tab where you can post general things, or you can also send me a message directly if you like (either via email or here on Patreon using the Message Creator button). Regarding Lens, you need to be logged in, so after following that link, log in using the button in the upper right.

2020-08-15 16:17:19 +0000 UTCI may be new at this game but could you tell me where I can post a general comment or question without having to comment on an already comment? AND how do I get into LENS without it asking for a new membership? I get the notification and link for LENS in my email but when I link there I get the membership options only.

2020-08-15 14:47:07 +0000 UTCWill look forward to AUD being there. One day I want to pay for something with a Ningi, but the Galactibanks refuse to deal in piddling small change.

2020-08-06 19:47:43 +0000 UTCSo what you are saying is that I can make my own money and pay you in that? That sounds like fun. I will have to come up with a good name for that currency. I think "TrollBucks" is a great name for a currency, sounds very legit.
