Here's the latest link for the shared patron drive with all the drawings, design files, etc for the projects I've built.
If you're new here, this link expires in 30 days, and I post a new one each month. There are instructions for opening the files at the top of the list. Enjoy!

I think it was mentioned in the last question and answer video. It was deemed to have failed and ended.

I was looking at your playlists and decided to watch the 2019 machinist relay. what happened was AVE so stoned that he didn`t understand the concept that what he made was supposed add on to what the previous makers did. I unsubscribed from his site a long time ago cause I couldn`t stand him.

2022-01-28 19:28:06 +0000 UTCwhen people bring me " one off" projects it can be so tough to explain the time involved in the setup !!!!!!!!!!!

2022-01-28 19:27:50 +0000 UTCI'm glad to have helped, even a little bit. I watch quite a few metal & woodworking channels, but yours is one of the few that consistently inspire my own work. I have an assortment of scrap cast iron brackets, big gears and the like that I cut up for material. My new potable bandsaw is an absolute wonder for reducing the scrap to useful pieces. -31c here last night!

2022-01-14 23:20:24 +0000 UTC10 cool points for creative machining! Just last week I was using a mill as a lathe. Bar stock in the spindle. Turning tool in the vice. Just make what you have work!

2022-01-14 22:12:24 +0000 UTCThat's what I thought, assuming that the lathe spindle has a Morse socket. Probably would want to have a tapped type of shank secured by a drawbar through the spindle.

2022-01-09 10:59:58 +0000 UTCWould a Morse taper arbor not be available for the boring head? Brilliant fixturing!
