Video Sharing

Hi Patrons!

I'm considering posting old Patron-only videos to my public YouTube channel to help boost traffic there. However, I don't want my Patrons to feel their investment is undermined. How would you feel about it? I would repost videos older than, say, two months.

I agree with the others. I was already supporting you before you had the extra video content, because I enjoy your posts and hacks and want to compensate you for my enjoyment. I like that we get bonus content, and while I like that we get it as a patron perk, I also don't think that it needs to be exclusive to patrons

Don't overthink it! We are giving you free money because we love you! Doing so already makes us feel special. If you want to show us something a day or two (not months) in advance, that's just extra joy on top.

Fr what it's worth, I support people on Patreon because I think they should be compensated for their time to make my entertainment, in order for them to safely be able to spend time dicking around in front of a camera without feeling they should be doing more profitable things instead. Most Patreons tend to reward that by giving out their videos a week or so in advance for Patreons, way sooner than the months you're thinking of. When they're on Youtube, I don't even bother watching them early; I'll probably see them come up in my feed when they're released for the greater public anyway. What I'm trying to say: I'm not on here to get any special rewards or anything from anyone. I'm on here because the Internet has given me a lot of entertainment for free, with the creators being just some individuals who usually pay for it out of their own pocket. I'd hate for that to go away, and if me giving a few quid helps insuring people can keep on making videos, that's reward enough.
