Sales Tax on Patreon
Added 2020-05-20 20:29:46 +0000 UTCHey Patrons! Starting July 1st, Patreon is being required by some jurisdictions to collect sales tax on some aspects of the service. None of you should be affected, as your donations to Blondihacks all count as "general support" and I'm not offering any recurring physical goods or similar to you. My merchandise store is already sales-taxed as needed depending on where you live.
If, on July 1st, you notice Patreon charging you sales tax on your donation, let me know and I can investigate. Once again, I believe no Blondihacks supporters will be affected by this, so don't be alarmed if you get an email from Patreon on this topic.

2020-05-20 21:45:56 +0000 UTCNoone should be affected, except for us Europeans :) (EU-citizens like me are charged VAT since 2015, and from the Patreon announcement I gather most of non-EU-Europe will follow suit in July). Keep on turning! (is that something people say?)
