The chase was on! The crew of the merchant ship “Amethyst” strained their backs hauling ropes and setting the angle of the sails just right, to gain every knot of speed they could. A dark mood hung over the ship for they knew they were being chased by the dreaded pirate ship “Medusa”, commanded by the scourge of the high seas—Captain “Black Boots” Roby and her bloodthirsty crew of scoundrels.
Captain Corina of the “Amethyst” commanded her ship well, and Carmen steered the ship with a steady and capable hand, but the winds were against them, enabling the pirate ship to close the gap.
Captain Roby admired the sailing qualities of the “Amethyst” and wanted to capture it for use as another pirate ship, so she refrained from destroying it by cannon fire.
Roby: Their treasure is ours for the taking! Take command of the boarding party, Silvia.
Silvia: Prepare to board! The ships came together with a jolt, and the pirates jumped onboard the “Amethyst” with a blood-curdling war cry. Pirates Lily and Sabrina boarded the “Amethyst” in the middle of the ship.
Lily’s shot missed but Captain Corina’s shot hit pirate Sabrina in the chest. Sabrina collapsed onto the deck and died.
Lily drew her cutlass and leaped onto the deck but was stopped in her tracks by a swing of Maeva’s axe that just missed.
Lily’s blade found its mark.
Lily’s best friend, Angela, jumped onboard at the bow but almost didn’t survive the jump when the gallant Julia lunged at her. A desperate backwards parry was the only thing that saved Angela from being skewered like shish kebab.
Angela quickly spun around and thrust the cold steel of her blade into the hot-blooded French woman, sending her crumpling to the deck, where her beautiful body spasmed and then lay still.
Before Angela knew what was happening, Fawn had wrapped a rope around her neck and pulled it tight.
When Lily saw her lover being strangled at the bow, she picked up Maeva’s battle axe and charged at Fawn.
Lily’s axe cut deep into Fawn’s back, causing Fawn to release her death grip on Angela’s neck. Angela fell to the deck on hands and knees, gasping for air and feeling weak.
Lily noticed Fawn’s boots were much more beautiful than her own, so she took them off Fawn’s limp body and put them on.
Lily: Food for the sharks!
The pirates had finally seized control of the bow, but fighting was still fierce near the stern, where Captain Corina put up stiff resistance. Silvia leaped on board and shot Carmen as she manned her post by the steering wheel.
Carmen: AAARGH!
Corina refused to surrender even though the rest of her crew were now dead, and she skillfully parried Silvia’s lunge.
Silvia’s second lunge hit home, mortally wounding the gallant captain.
Corina: AAARGH!
Silvia: You fought well, Captain, so I’ll make your death quick to ease your pain.
The ship was taken and its wealth now belonged to the pirates!
The entire crew of the “Amethyst” was dead at the cost of only one pirate, Sabrina.
The “Amethyst” turned out to be carrying more treasure than expected, so the mood of the pirates turned to celebrating.
Silvia: A drink for you and a drink for me, Captain Corina!
Lily: How do you like my new boots, Angela? I took them off that dead sailor who tried to strangle you.
Angela: They look much better on you than her! How can I ever repay you for saving my life?
Lily: You can start with a sloppy wet kiss, but I have something more wicked in mind for later tonight...
