Cowgirls...

After the death of the perfidious bandit Roberta, the order and calm returns to the streets of the city...

But only for a short time.

Happens that the recently deceased bandit had agreed to reunite with her old gang to share the spoils of her last hits, and so the streets were once again populated by women with a stern, trigger-happy look in their eyes.

Of course they aren´t happy with the deadwith the death and subsequent public humiliation of their former comrade and leader...

Luckily, the town has a new Sheriff, the young but very capable Stephy, whose marksmanship and quickness with the six shooter precedes her... Her name alone is enough of a deterrent to make the black-hearted bandits think twice!

And she isn´t alone. The legendary Niki Lawless, a famed bounty hunter, has agreed to work as her deputy.

Tension can be cut with a knife on the streets, everything looks like a powder keg waiting to explode. Both sides are waiting for the slightest excuse to draw their weapons and start shooting...

Victoria, a veteran outlaw, quite given to getting drunk and losing control too, is the one who lights the fuse. Seeing the sheriff staring at her from across the street, she can't help but let out her fierce tongue and draw her weapon...

That was all its needed... Stephy easily takes down the mature gunslinger, whose good times are gone.

And so a fierce gunfight ensues.

Stephy, Niki and young Helen shoot at the bandits, who have been taken slightly by surprise, but are quick to react.

Helen, a brave and kind-hearted local girl, finds her young life in the service of the law suddenly cut short when Grace, one of the veteran bandits, shoots her brains out.

Niki takes care of Trilly and Titty, emptying her two revolvers over them. The two assassins are riddled in a storm of lead, screaming in pain.

But a stray bullet, reflexively fired by one of her prey, hits the former bounty hunter turned law enforcement officer...

The last of the bandits, Grace, is finally shot in the belly. She moans hoarsely and collapses to her knees, finally dying next to the corpse of her companion.

It has been a day the city's inhabitants will forget for a long time.... Its streets are peaceful again, albeit strewn with corpses.

On the dusty ground lies lifeless the legendary Niki Lawles, who gave her life for the good...

Victoria lived into her fifties, quite an achievement for a bandit who lived by killing and stealing without remorse. As she always said "I will die with my boots on", and so she did, although she should also have added to that phrase "... and drunk as a skunk".

Given the unusual nature of the situation, the local funeral parlour is unable to cope with the growing demand for coffins, so Victoria and Roberta will share the same.

Stephy is hailed as the heroine of the day by the local girls, who take her as an example. Although she has a minor arm injury, she is fine and encourages everyone to keep on the right path. Meanwhile, they all work together to clear the streets of corpses.

Young Helen will also be remembered for her courage, even if her death did little good.

"A pity, she made such delicious apple pies," someone said.
