Non-Seasonal Anime Reaction Ideas
Added 2021-03-24 12:46:45 +0000 UTCI posted a poll for upcoming seasonal anime yesterday, check it out if you haven't. Before I make a new one for non-seasonals, I want to get some ideas for shows to put on that poll. So sound off in the comments and I'll choose 5 or 10, thanks!

Hibike Euphonium, K-on, and Violet Evergarden are all spectacularly well-made shows by kyoani. You should see them if you haven't already. Mawaru Penguindrum is an amazing series that only a couple people have reacted to. It's not particularly well known though, so it may not draw a lot of views. Sarazanmai is a more recent work by the same director. Eizouken is a wonderful 13 episode love letter to anime and animation. Chihayafuru and Girls und Panzer are both superbly executed unconventional sports shows that rise high above their unappealing sounding premises. If you're looking for another long-running series to invest in, Legend of the Galactic Heroes is a timeless classic that every anime watcher should see at some point.

2021-03-25 02:18:18 +0000 UTCI second some other people in this post with Shinsekai Yori (From the New World), Mahoutsukai no Yome (The Ancient Magus' Bride) , and Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou (Girl's Last Tour). I also think watching Darling in the Franxx would be interesting after you've watched Eva, or something more light-hearted the Gabriel Dropout.

2021-03-24 22:49:16 +0000 UTCHigurashi (2006) Fafner in the Azure: Dead Aggressor (2004) You seemed to be enjoying Higurashi Gou, so figured starting off from the actual beginning could be fun. And Fafner is just one of my favorite things in the world, it DOES start with a lot of superficial Eva similarities though, so... curious how you'd feel about it.

2021-03-24 13:13:43 +0000 UTCI would highly recommend Silver spoon made by the author of FMA. It's a slice of life drama anime about farming. It's easily one of the most relaxing shows out there. It has some really great character development, some hard hitting moments and great life lessons as well. I personally like this much more than FMA. Some other shows I wouldn't mind seeing from your PTW are GTO, Run with the wind, Shirobako, Wotakoi, PPTA and Baby Steps (The one I like most of these 6 but least likely to win the poll. A bit biased because of my love of tennis but I think that this is one the best sports shows)
