Flexi Dolphin Early Release Done!
Added 2022-06-20 19:40:10 +0000 UTCSo it happened again. Just like with the elephant, I went into this design thinking it would be a simple flexi.
But as I was looking at reference pictures of playful dolphins, I thought it would be really fun to make it sit up as if it was breaching the water.
The great thing is that the curl came together pretty quickly and I am very happy with the pose.
It also opens the door for some fun additions I can make down the line, like a stand that looks like a splash!
BTW I haven't tried it yet but I feel that this one can be printed pretty small. Going to try a small one now.

2024-07-21 02:17:19 +0000 UTCI printed at 50% 10% infill 2 walls. Printed 8 at a time. Printed well but the model doesn't flex enough at that scale to do the tail stand. the gaps that allow that are to small an interfere to allow the complete bend. But Still articulates well every where else. Thanks for the great model. These make great giveaways to kids.
