Thank you members for voting for this Hippopotamus! I have already printed way too many of these and they are so fun :)
Of course I had to make this one with an opening mouth, I feel it adds so much personality. AND it balances on two legs, just like the elephant.
To put on his mouth, simply lay the hippo down on the belly, set the mouth in place, and press it down. You may hear a slight pop sound.
Remember that pla does wear over time, so the mouth may get looser the more you play with it. It's pretty snug at first.
Print tips and Info:
STL and 3MF files are included. * If you use the 3mf file, please remember that it is a painted project file for your convenience. You must check your material/printer/settings to make sure it works correctly for your printing project.
I print with 3 walls, 15% infill/gyroid, .12 or .16 layer height for quality.
