Grandma's 76th birthday

I missed her so much, she looks great for her age!
We ate a lot, talked and wished her many more years to come (even though her answer is always "I hope not" lol)
Sometimes the little things in life are the best, like seeing granny and telling her you love her.
I also saw an aunt of mine that has alzheimers, I knew she had no idea who I was because she asked my mom (her sisters daughter) who I was lol.
My cousin (who she sees almost everyday) said hi and she look at him confused and said hi back, then she noticed my mom and her face just lit up, even though they rarely see each other you could see that she remember my mom and loves her deeply.
Then she asked me "do you know who I am?" And I said yes. Then she said "what's my name then?" And I said her name.
Her reaction was to grab my mom's hand and jump like a little kid while saying "I haven't been forgotten! She remembers me!"
I almost cried, even though she couldn't remember who I was, it was clearly important for her to be remembered π₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ί.
I guess when you forget everything and everyone you worry everyone will do the same.
