You may just need to re evaluate your goals and how to meet them. I’ve caught myself working crazy hours on something I thought would help my goals but never did. It happens. Or maybe your goal needs to be better defined and broken into smaller, short term goals that won’t kill you ;). Yes, work hard. But maybe a little smarter if you’re spinning your wheels.

I'll make sure to take care of myself ESPECIALLY once summer started for me. I think it's because I want this to work so bad I'm really trying to push myself to make it happen. But if it's at the cost of my health and sanity I dont know if it's worth it

Aww, make sure you take a break and focus on yourself for a while! And it is important that you do what you want to do with your channel, I just keep requests to competition prizes and special occasions, I can't imagine how you keep up! I don't have a job like you do but I still study full time and I get burn out often as I have an issue of knowing when to stop, but mostly due to health reasons.

I do feel the burn out but I know it's also partly due to working full time on top of really pushing myself with all of this. I dont mind doing fanart if it's for things I like, which I usually do in my videos but I do think It has been doing a little too much with streaming for so long. It was fine at first as you can probably tell from me leaving my stream early this past weekend, I'm just running on empty. I really wanted to just do a relaxing painting with coffee this week but I just couldnt get it. I think I might do a full portrait next week. It's been a while since I've done one and i think i just want to make something to zone out to.
I'm making something silly in the end that will probably appeal to my younger audience. I dont mind silly but i agree with you, i do need to find a happy medium to have my dream channel. Thanks for the advice and for listening ❤❤

Take this for whatever worth it is to you, but I think you would be fine if you changed things up a bit to allow you to be more you. If you don't want to do fan art, don't get a huge following through fan art and burn out. Be honest with your current subscribers about where you're at and do the best work that you're the most passionate about. Your subscribers do love the requests, maybe do that once a month or something, but they also love you and Tony for being you and Tony. You're both really sweet, genuine and hilarious people. Your both very likable people, and that will draw a crowd just as much (if not more) than novelty art. You can even just come out and say you're doing something different as an experiment and invite your subscribers to help you evaluate how it went. Then change up the channel to whatever your dream channel would look like. Do your "best most ideal dream couple of weeks as a YouTube Artist extravaganza" and have fun with it. Then look at the data. I guess in short, take a chance on being your best you and see what happens. (which includes getting enough down time so you don't get sick face) ;)

Sculpting sounds like a great idea! I dont want to always do fan art and I dont want to always borrow challenge ideas so it's hard to figure out what to draw every week!

I think everyone hits that wall every now and then. I've been in a funk for a few weeks and I have no idea what to film. I was thinking of trying sculpting just to do something different.
