November 2018 Update

Hello you incredible people!

Long time no see.  At least here on Patreon.  I hope you are all doing well.  I thought I'd put out a bit of a rambling update to let you guys know what is happening here in Grim's world.

I sure hope you guys are following along over on Chyoa.  While the Patreon's been quiet I've put out a fair bit of content this last while.

What I've been up to:

There is the current No Nut November story thread on RotL.  I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for that one, I just have to get there now.

I released a full old school style CYOA dungeon crawl called Grim's Dungeon.  This project was fun and it was nice to have a completed story to release all at once, but damn it was time consuming (even writing at top speed).  Love the game idea though.

And I am dabbling with a little storyline here as well.  There doesn't seem to be much interest in it however.

I keep meaning to return to Suddenly Daddy to finish that up.  The smut's all done but the story isn't yet.  Something's been gnawing at me about that story though.  I'm not sure how you guys feel but I feel like I messed something up on it.  I am sorely tempted to start that one again from the beginning.  Ted being with both Claire and Jeremy...I dunno.  I think the magic was with Jeremy.  Also I think Poppy, after the emotional confession, should have just become a normal daughter for Ted.  More nookie before the confession but none after would have been better in my opinion.  As it is it just...doesn't quite sit right with me atm.  Maybe it's just me.  Part of what I love about writing the way I do is that I am kind of along for the ride with the readers, the down side is I can sometimes get caught going down wrong turns or blind alleys.

Sadly I think My Wasteland Angel is on an indefinite hiatus.  I liked the concept, the characters, and the world, but I think I paced the romance poorly.  The story may speak to me again at some point however, we'll see.

I hope you guys are still enjoying my stuff.  I still enjoy making it. :)  From the bottom of my heart I THANK YOU guys again.  I just can't say it enough.  Thank you for supporting me in the first place and thank you for sticking around even when there is no (or very little) pay-walled content.  Your support just makes my writer's heart feel good.

The Future:

Heading into next year I think I will start to look at changing things up.  I love Chyoa as it is so easy to use and the community is great, but it does have a rather limited audience.  Literotica has the audience but it is not ideal for publishing the Slice of Life stuff that I so enjoy writing.  Side branches to stories would be difficult there as well.  If I change my primary venue I will definitely let you guys know.  

Whatever I end up doing I do have to figure out how to raise my game on the business side of things.  I love the writing, that part is a joy.  Making money at it?  Fucking clueless.  lol

 As you guys know it is my hope is to eventually make writing my full time job.  I don't mind my "real" job (it pays the bills), but I LOVE writing.  Thankfully my S.O. fully supports my ambition.  My plan is to throw myself into this for 3 to 5 years and see what happens.

Starting in the next few months I would like to start a new Slice of Life story on the scale of Runt of the Litter and set in the same universe.  It won't have the blood relation taboo element to it as that does limit what I can do with it.  I want a quirky and diverse cast of characters and I want to be able to move the POV around to be able to follow different characters and storylines.  I want it to be an ensemble cast type of story.  This does force me into writing 3rd Person POV.  I am not a huge fan of that in erotica (I like 1st or 2nd person pov for sex scenes) but as of now I'm not even sure how lewd this story will actually be.  I am still in the very early stages so any input you guys might have would be welcome.  All I can say right now is that it will likely have futas, femboys, romance, and drama.

Finally, before I go, I've noticed that many nsfw author's and artists have their own discord servers.  Is this something you guys would be interested in?  I am honestly not sure how much it would be used but I suppose it would give us a place to chat and share stuff about our common interests.  I've never run a discord server before.  I'm not sure how much of a hassle it is.  I know people can be real jerks online and I would want a place that is positive and welcoming.  Anyways, I'm rambling again, let me know if this interests you and I might put one together.
