Update: Oct 2023

Hello friends,

It's another smooth sailing update.  Serials continue.  Shorts have been fun.  CYOA slow but interesting.  Site update was annoying but manageable.  On we go to November.

I think today I'll instead use this post to express some gratitude.  In no particular order.  I am grateful for life's 'smooth sailing' this month.  I am grateful to live in a time where an author of fringe fiction can write directly for their audience.  I am grateful to my readers who share these journeys with me.  I am grateful to my patrons who inspire me daily with their faith that I'll produce something worth reading.  I am grateful to Patreon which, while not without its flaws, provides me an easy to use platform.  I am grateful to all of the free sites like Chyoa, twitter, discord, Wattpad, and others that let me connect with the wider world.  I am grateful for my muse Chloe who has brought me to tears, to laughter, and to orgasm more times than I can count.  I am grateful to my characters who let me peek into their lives and write about them.  I am grateful for each precious hour that I am able to set aside to perform my passion.  I am grateful for the art and music and media that spark in me joy and wonder and new ideas.  I am grateful for my understanding friends who respect my space by not asking too many questions about my time sucking 'hobby'.  I am grateful to my partner and family for reaffirming the existence of true love every single day.  I am grateful for the peace and safety that I enjoy in my little region of this blue-green marble.  I am grateful for my time in this miraculous universe of beauty both grand and small.  I am grateful for my first sip of coffee in the morning, the taste of raspberries, the feeling of working up a good sweat, the out of body flow of a good chapter, and the tranquility of a quiet spot in the country when I can find the opportunity to get out there.  I am grateful for all of these things and so much more.  I hope that you can take a moment to find in your life so many fine things to be grateful for.  ❤
