Update: April 2023
Added 2023-04-25 15:41:51 +0000 UTCHowdy y'all,
Time again for the monthly update. Firstly, Patreon billing will resume as of April 30th and new patrons will be able to join again.
As talked about in previous posts I have revamped the tiers. It ended up taking a bit of time as I had to do everything chapter by chapter, yeesh. The new tiers are as follows:
Tip Jar ($1): Unchanged.
Reader ($5): Access to the main serials and shorts currently being worked on*, access to previous unfinished serials, and the ability to vote in Reader polls.
Reader Plus ($10): As above plus access to most recent finished short (currently Prejac Zach), ability to vote in Reader Plus polls, and one post per month of timed exclusive 'Plus' content**.
Archivist ($20): As above plus access to all previous shorts and novellas.
Good One ($100): As above plus a monthly 'good boy' or 'good girl' from me each month end update. Purely a silly tier for those of means who wish to be extra generous. (I don't expect any takers, but it's there if someone wants it.)
*: A short once finished will remain available until the next short is started.
**: The exclusive Reader Plus chapters/posts will become available to Readers in the following month. In the previous polls Character a Month, Gifts, and Slow Moving CYOA were effectively ties. My plan for May is for us to build a character then I will write a short introduction to her/him. In June we'll start the slow moving CYOA starring that character and in the course of that story the gift(s) can be given. This plan may change though. With just a handful of Reader Plus patrons (not all of whom vote in polls) we can expect a lot of ties in any Plus polls. When this happens I will give Chloe the deciding vote.
To my eye Reader is still the main tier as it gives everything current, which from what I can tell is why most of you are here. Reader Plus has a goodie or two to sweeten the deal but nothing that undermines the lower tier. The Archivist tier will not be welcome news I realize. I know it sucks losing content and I know I'll lose some of you because of it but I figure to go forward I might have to take a backward step here and there. I hope to sell my old shorts and novellas as ebooks starting June or July and I need to put a dollar value on them at some point. One of the distasteful parts of trying to make my passion my business is having to think about $. I'm doing my best.
Whether you are a Tip Jar pal, a Reader legend, a Reader Plus hero, an awesome Archivist, a godlike Good One, or one of my free reading kings and queens please know that I appreciate the hell out of you. â€
Okay, with that out of the way, let's look forward. Again it is pretty much another keep things rolling month. I have no plans to stop working on either Slave Girl 2 or A Simple Life as I am enjoying them both greatly. I hope to wrap up Panty Raid in May and move onto the next short which will be a non-futa cuckold story.
Consider yourself updated. đ
I love you all. And remember, whatever life throws at you just know that ol' Grim is rooting for you. You got this.
I hope you all have the most incredible May ever.
Take care.
Grim.

Sorry it wasn't as clear as I meant it to be. You're not really buying books here but gaining a rolling access to my work. Never intended to evoke bad feelings.

2023-07-05 11:52:50 +0000 UTCI just now realized I don't get access to things I have already read and paid for with this new system. Every now and again I'll go reread some stuff from before, and I assumed like most other systems of this kind this just called for newcomers to pay a premium to read old stuff they weren't previously subscribed for. Usually these sorts of systems are there to encourage subscription loyalty by allowing longterm fans to bank up stories by being subscribed during their actual release, but also allow a newcomer to pay a higher price to go back and enjoy that content. This would now force me to periodically pay 20 dollars a month to read things I have already consumed if the whim strikes me. This is something I only do occasionally, but am really not happy about being punished for doing. The other more realistic incentive now being that I have to copy paste every single non-mainline story into a text file in the off chance I like it, simply to avoid paying a premium to reread it later. Which also feels terrible. I really hope this is changed if possible. I don't think simultaneously squeezing longtime re-readers in order to theoretically get a newcomer to fork over 15 extra bucks is a good idea. If Patreon doesn't allow for a sharper system that's a shame, but I feel like I'm getting dinged for remembering your work fondly, which feels really bad.
