Slave Girl 3, Early Opinion Poll
Added 2024-07-14 14:58:32 +0000 UTCI'm not sure when or even if Slave Girl 3 will be written but I'll be thinking about it in the background as I'm writing other things. I have so many ideas of where it might go and a lot of research to do on myth, culture, history, music, etc in the meantime.
I'm just curious on where YOU would like to see our happy little family settle down in the end. I want to make it clear that this is purely an opinion poll and I am not going to feel bound to the results. I also realize that the first option will likely win in a landslide, but I'm not sure if that is where I want to take this tale. Although maybe it is. We'll see what Chloe has to say in the end. I will say though that the results of this poll will not be entirely discounted. If nothing else it might eliminate some options which would be useful in itself.
As a bit of context, the time is in the 110's AD and Quin's goal is to get his family out of the Roman Empire. Also, the majority of the story might be more about the trip than the destination, like SG1, so that is something to consider as well. Finally, as this is an alternate Earth I am going to take some liberties with history and myth and other such things. My goal is not to write a history text.
Where would you be interested in seeing this group end up? Feel free to vote for each option that interests you.

2024-12-01 10:26:30 +0000 UTCI really wanted to say thank you for writing this marvellous story, also to answer this poll I pretty much think that every place you proposed would make an interesting background BUT there is a better option (probably, I think) why don’t you make them travel around the world via ship like Odysseus, at first it would seem a bit strange for the farmer Quintus, and very dangerous for the family in making, but just like Rosa who never before felt the connection with the forests because she lived in the city, maybe Quintus would find a connection with the sea he never felt before, also it would fit with the sword since the Taurus was a gift from Neptune so by besting him he got a special place in the god’s heart (and I didn’t forget Quintus love for fish), also for the ship I was thinking about something crazy where you can have a little plantation and a forest shrine but maybe that is too much One Piece like crazy ship, but this would permit them exploring pretty much every place in the list. p.s. I hope you will read this message it would make me a really happy boy, embarrassing thing apart I could only write this now because I found out this sacred text only in November on literotica but I could get subscribed only now, I had to wait 20 days but finally I could write you this message I feel so relieved now ahhhh, also it seems this is amazing story is of minor importance in your eyes but in my heart it has taken its rightful place so please don’t forget it and when you want please write some other chapters, I’ll be waiting for another chapter of this masterpiece eagerly, ohhh last thing please use more commas, sometimes its a bit confusing, sorry for writing such a long message. In this world the Amazons control the entire Eastern half of the Black Sea area and a bit beyond and they've never been conquered. That is one of the reasons the Empire continues with such harsh treatment of them and propaganda against them, they are ancient enemies. I definitely hear you on note 2 and that is something that would need to be contended with if the group ends up in those areas, though magic would change some things. Roman Britannia is definitely a cool shout and one that I had been thinking about. 👍

2024-07-15 16:59:06 +0000 UTCHere comes a history nerd with few annoying remarks: 1. The problem with Themiscyra is that by the time the events are unfolding, this city is deep within Roman Empire. And before that the city had been colonized by Greeks. Even with fantasy and magic involved, I find it hard to explain how that piece of land has not been conquered by either Greeks or Romans. 2. Note that in terms cultural & urban safistication most of mentioned cultures were very backward compared to Roman Empire (the only exception is China, with Parthia and India catching up but still behind). Moving from Rome to Japan or Scandinavia in 1st century would be like moving from Norway or UK to Zimbabwe or Afghanistan today. 3. Crazy thoughts of my own: perhaps far to the North-West of Italy in the lands of Roman Britannia there is a wise Roman governor (great-great-great-etc-grandpapa of King Arthur lol), who neglects some harsh roman laws such a slavery by birth for Amazons (historically slaves conditions were milder on frontiers because slaves could always run away beyond Roman Empire) and yet promotes roman culture & civilization in the region that still has a strong flavor of celtic spirit and druidic rites.

Also potentially seeing Quinn no longer being the most imposing person around and going from being terrified of being around an Amazonian at the beginning, to living in/ contributing to their community.

But I'd prefer if they ended up somewhere magic and fantastical. Either through having a high civilization and just having mages, or just it being a very magic place.
